Good to visit: December to February, it is the peak of the rainy season in the area. Anyway, Toraja never experiences an all day long rain.
Summary of the visit program
Day 1 Depart Makassar early in the morning to reach Toraja in the afternoon after an about 8 hours drive. Or you can fly either direct to Toraja or to Bua in Palopo and then drive for about 2 hours to Toraja
Day 2 and Day 3 Explore Toraja villages and sights. Take part at any cultural activities which may take place during your Toraja visit.
Day 4 transfer to the airport
