Itinerary

  1. Arrival Ternate the Island which known since the early Ages of Discovery where the Iberians and the Dutch tried to take control of Spice trading right from where the spices grow. Take sightseeing on this tiny beautiful Island

  2. Visit Tidore Island where the Spanish once take stronghold control over the island. Return to Ternate for lunch and afternoon take around the island sightseeing for the spices such ads clove and nutmegs. Late afternoon enjoy one of the most sceanic view in the country

  3. Visit Gamalama market of Ternate and then transfer to harbour to take speedboat to Halmahera Island to continue by car to reach Weda Resort

  4. At your leisure

  6. Take and easy bird watching trip where hundreds of birds just next your head singing and flying. 

  7. Return to Ternate to take your flight back home or the the next destination

How to get to Weda Resort

 

  • Fly to the nearest International Airport either Makassar or Manado or fly to Bali and Jakarta first

  • Then fly to Ternate, with easy access from Makassar and manado

  • Boat and car trasnfer o the resort

Travel tips​

  • Always bring an overnight bag on board inter - island flights for at least one day need. Since sometimes the check in luggage may arrive one day later.

  • Don't connect the inter - island flights with international flight in the same day. A one night transit at the nearest international airport

  • Bank Notes: Bali and Jakarta have better exchange rates than on the islands visited. Anyway there are networks of Banls and ATM (automated teller machine)in every capitol towns on the islands.

  • Hat, sun glasses, mosquite repelent, good walking shoes and sun protection lotion are worth to bring along
