Met tourism in 1982
Ng Sebastian - the founder - was once intended to become a journalist. Hence he decided to go to the univeristy in Makassar 1n 1982. Realised that he arrived too late to enroll at the State Owned University, he turned the course. It was not my destiny to be a journalist.
Being in a limbo situation, a far cousin mentioned a name of Tourism Academy. Tourism? Sounds fancy! He then enrolled to that institution. Although, after two weeks he realised that it was not the right education institution. "Well, I have spent two weeks here. It is the point of no return! Tourism is my path of life!" Knowledge and skills can be searched somewhere.
His eagerness in improving himself, caught the attention of Mr. Amiruddin Saharuna - one of his lecturer - who also a staff at the Regional Tourism Office of the Directorate General of Tourism. Mr. Saharuna very often asked him to join his meeting with travel writters at various hotels.
The next step is to aquire Guide License. Ng Sebastian then become a best graduate at the tour guide course out of 72 participants. Not very long after the course, on July 1987 Ng Sebastioan become a trainee guide at Ramayana Tours. Mr. Octavianus Pasolang - the tour manager at the company - who noticed him as a potential tour guide. Since then he become a tour guide until 1991.
Mr. Nico B. Pasaka - the owner of Ramayana Tours - recognised that Ng Sebastian has the capacity to manage an organisation. Then Mr. Pasaka apointed Ng Sebastian as the Branch Manager of his company for Lesser Sunda Islands Destination in 1992. Ng Sebastian run the branch office for 12 years (until 2004).
By February 2005, Ng Sebastian found Incito Tour - his own baby company - amids the tourism industry slowdown in the country by then. After 10 years, it is now time to become incito.vacations. Tourism is not merely tour. It is more than that.
