Liukang Lohe is an islet off shore of Bira Beach of Bulukumba in South Sulawesi Indonesia.
I visited Liukang Lohe with Roberto an Italian friend in August 2022. Liukang attracted me for its location is just 10 minutes from Bira Beach.
For the visit I had a nice talk with Irmawati, a lady native to Liukang to get my transfer and accommodation arranged.
Then I introduced Roe Oting, Kelor Celup - my Moringa product. Irmawati then told me that Liukang has plenty of Moringa. It is one source of income for the Liukang dwellers.
Ok get the boat and accommodation for Roberto and me now. I arrived at the island few minutes later. Got 2 rooms at her homestay. one for Roberto and 1 for me.
Our lunch menu on Liukang Loe was included Moringa Fruit Soup.

Moringa Fruit soup is a popular dishes in South Sulawesi especially for the Bugis and Makassar ethnic. Liukang Loe Island is a major supplier of Moringa Fruit for the huge local market.

To fulfill my curiosity, Irma took me for a walk that afternoon. Liukand is a barren tiny island with almost no arable soil at all. It is formed on young coral rocks.

There are two types of Moringa on the island. Mostly we grow Moringa for fruit. Moringa for leaf is very few.
Is there any difference between Moringa for fruit and Moringa for leaf? Yes it is, Irma replied
